Hi,
I am aware that the E20 is long EOL and also end-of-support.
For an educational project in a non-production non-commercial environment (essentially a Video-Conferencing playground in an IT-course at school to learn about SIP and H.323) I'd like to update an E20 running TE2.1.0 to anything H.323-capable, so TE4.1.x, so it can talk to some other H.323 machines.
Is there any chance to do that still in 2022? If yes, how?
Any pointers appreciated.
Thanks,
Max

Hi,
there was already a similar post some days ago, maybe the guy from the reply can help you:

As I mentioned in the other thread linked by @b.winter, while some people may have copies of the newer TE software (I do), it is against the Cisco Software agreement to hand out copies of it without authorisation. I would suggest the best course of action for you would be to discuss your need for updated software with your local Cisco Team and they may be able to provide you with what you need in an approved manner. They should also be able to help getting you the Release Key that will be required for the software upgrade from TE2.x to TE4.x
Please remember to mark helpful responses and to set your question as answered if appropriate.

Got a unit running TE4.1 2nd hand by now, so I am covered. Thanks nonetheless.
