I was just looking at the basic configuration guide and the example shows the devices in two different domains?

Could you paste here the document you are referring? I have it working in the same domain.

Configure the Domain name as follows: Expressway-C		Expressway-E
Domain name	Enter internal-domain.net		Enter example.com
