Hi Stefan,

Basically L-EDGE75-TO-85 is used to convert it into an Edge 95 and the bandwidth option is also required. What you need to do is first add the option key & bandwidth key using the Web GUI. Once that is done, you can login to the API and use the following command :

ProductKey [Key] (Hit Enter & reboot the codec)

where [Key] is L-EDGE75-TO-85.

When it comes back up, the process should be complete.

Hope this answers your question.

Regards,

Mubashshir Akhtar

Edge75MXP to Edge85MXP require several steps and important step is to upgrade product type.

As first step, you need to contact Cisco Global License Team (license@cisco.com, or from web portal) and get product key which is 16 digits of number.

You will need Serial Number for this (product key will generate based on your Edge MXP serial number that would like to upgrade to Edge85MXP).

Second step is to install this product key.

As Mubashshir mention in above, access to Endpoint ether from console, telnet or ssh, then execute “productkey [16-digits-number key]” end it enter follow by “xcom boot”.

Please note “L-EDGE75-TO-85” is not product key for Edge85MXP upgrade. This is PID for purchasing upgrade key.

Endpoint should boot up with Edge85MXP logo on screen.

You should now add option key.

You may do this from web GUI or following API from console/telnet/ssh.

MS option: xConfiguration OptionKey Features:”16-digits-number key for MS feature”

BW option: xConfiguration OptionKey Bandwidth: ”16-digits-number key for new bandwidth”

Then restart Endpoint.
