activation code for cisco telepresence sx10

Hi

we have sx10 device and shows in the screen not activated and asks for activation code

what kind of activation code it asks from me?

please help me?

The activation code is a code generated from your Spark Admin Portal.  If you are not using the Spark cloud service, then you can bypass this.  You may need to factory reset the SX10 to be able to bypass the screen again.

The activation code is a code generated from your Spark Admin Portal.  If you are not using the Spark cloud service, then you can bypass this.  You may need to factory reset the SX10 to be able to bypass the screen again.

can they do video conferences with outside SX10 without the activation code?

Without activation, it can’t be used.
Is the SX10 registered to CUCM, VCS/Expressway, or Spark?

how to register in CUCM/VCS or spark?

To register to CUCM, you need an available TelePresence Room License in CUCM so it can register, to configure the CUCM and the SX10, see Administering TelePresence Endpoints on CUCM.

To register to VCS, see the Configure H.323 and SIP section of the SX Series Getting Start Guide.

To register to Spark, see How Do I Add an Endpoint in the Cisco Spark Control Hub.

I need to register my device but i don't have register key and if i register,appear picture below attach file.Please advise to me, how can i solve this problem.

Edit: This has been already explained in the above thread. 

 This activation code you require only if you are registering your Spark device with WebEx cloud. you can generate by following instruction mentioned in the collaboration help page. Generate an activation code for your device.

 if you are registering on-premises solution you can bypass this by performing a factory reset. 

 

As per the screenshot, your device finds difficult to contact the cloud. so please check with your network/firewall team if they are not blocking the connectivity from your spark device to the cloud.

Hi there

Pls talk to your Cisco SCM or AM. You should have a site admin/partner admin privilege to access Control Hub
