TMS doesn't report anything on connected hardware of a codec, only what's relevant to scheduling and minimal management functions that TMS uses. If you go to Systems > Event Notification Manager in TMS, you can see the events that TMS can notify you on. If you'd like to have notifications added to TMS, the best way is to work with your Cisco Account Manager in opening a feature request to maybe getting it added.
