Back up configure and phonebook C series

Log in to codec using WIN SCP , user : root

Note : “root “ user is disabled by default for TC 4.x , 

Enable root setting : systemtools rootsettings on

Go to config folder & copy pb.xml file to PC.

Restore : Copy pb.xml file from PC and paste it to config folder

Note : This backup file can be used for same end point and also used for other endpoints .

This contains all your current phonebook contacts which are set on the system... you can also add new contacts in this file and reboot the codec ....which will come up on the codec...

In order to back up the configuration also for the C-series endpoints which is explained also for the E-series under URL:

To backup the system settings you must login to the C-series as root using SCP (or WinScp), and make a copy of the configuration database file.

The file is located at: /mnt/base/active/config.db
