C20 - Both fans are locked at 4320 rpm

Both fans 1 and 2 are showing they are locked on 4320 rpm. We have never seen this with our other C20's. The software version is TC6.0.1.65adebe. Should there be a concern?

Just did some research on this. It appears that this message is nothing to be concerned about. There were some fan issues that could arise from an upgrade from TC5.x to 6.0/6.0.1 but that would have caused the fans to show as failed which in our instance it does not. The fix for that issue is just a hard reboot of the system.

As for the "locked" you are seeing, I have found no evidence or previous cases that indicate that this should be of any concern. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the quick reply!

That is normal, I have several C20s that are powered on and running 24/7 and they are all showing their fans running at 4320 rpm.  Locked just means that is the current rpm they are locked or set to currently, and is something the software manages.

On another note, you should consider upgrading the C20 software, the current release is TC7.3.4, here are the TC7 Release Notes for reference.
