In that case, the problem could be with the Camera Control Cable.

Do you have a spare camera control cable which you can try to use ? If yes, then please try that and let us know if it resolves the issue. Once it does, you can open a TAC case and we can send you a replacement cable.

Hello,

the default would be for the camera to accept IR, also to control your menus. For this camera IR needs to be on and codec IR to auto.

Can you send xconfig  and xstatus of the codec?

Hi,

As Danny already mentioned, you need to have the Codec IR set to Auto & Camera IR set to On.

You can achieve that using the following commands:

xConfiguration SystemUnit IrSensor: Auto

xConfiguration Cameras Camera 1 IrSensor: On

Once done, the issue should be resolved. Please let us know if it still persists.

Hope this helps.

Not solved

*c xConfiguration SystemUnit IrSensor: Auto

*c xConfiguration Cameras Camera 1 IrSensor: On

You can try to set the codec IR explicitly to off.

Can we get xstatus camera or xstatus and xconfig ??

fixed! it was a problem with the camera control cable

thanks

Hi Josepaulopetry,

Did you find resolution for above issue. I tried swapping out the visca cable and my IRA settings are selected according but my problem still persists

Thanks

Check the camera status, does it show as being connected and see details about the camera?

Make sure that the IrSensor for the camera is On under Configuration > Cameras, and the codec is either Auto or Off under Configuration > SystemUnit.

In that case, the problem could be with the Camera Control Cable.
