Many many thanks Ravi

my pleasure Ruslan , do rate the reply if it helped resolving your query as it will help others as well showing the most accurate answer.

Help please.

Downloaded v6.0.0. Installation is OK (Win 7 (x64)), but could not launch from tc-console.exe file, error "could not find the main class com/tandberg/eva/App". Successfully started application from tc-console.jar file. But could not connect to codec. Codec C90 V 6.0.0. reason: unknown or unsupported product ID. What does it mean?

Thanks

i would suggest re installing or probably trying on another pC as there should not be any issue with the exe file.

For the codec is  that a c90 codec or a profile c90 unit

can you take a xstatus systemunit logs , or on web interface under the system information page , what is the device name  codec c90 or anything else.

Thanks

Ravi kr,

On systemUnit page over web i found:

ProductID TANDBERG T3 LR

I assume that is problem. How can I change ProductID? Even I could not do anything with layouts directly on C90.

Hi Ruslan,

If this is a part of T3 then it  will not be supported with the same product id, however

you can check on the licensing page if there is a procuct id to make it a c90.

http://www.cisco.com/web/go/license

use the SN:

if this is not a part of a T3 system and you have received it in an RMA or so then please provide those details,

last option puchasing a product id (probably  i am not sure if this will be an option probably sales or your accounts manager will tell better )

one thing is true that - it can be made a c90 codec.

Thanks

Ravi kr.

Hi Ravi,

Many thanks. Will try to change it over Cisco sales and support.

Interesting if ProductID connected to hardware or it can be changed over software/licensing. Previously this C90 was ordered as part of T3, later I decided to use it standalone.

Do check on the licensing page if it has any product id for c90 if so that you can change it.

else proceed as you have mentioned.

Hi,

Just for your info, TC console version 3.3.1 has been released and available at developer.tandberg.com.

This fixes the issue when using with the TCNC (no crypto) software.
