Call flow of VCS-E and VCS-C

Hi all,

I am looking for some documents describing call flow of VCS-E and VCS-C in H.323 just like the jpg I attached.

(Especially when an endpoint dials from internet to intranet)

Is there any documents like tthat?

Hi!

I do not have something out of the box, but you should be able to make it yourself.

The debug capability on the vcs can help you here, as well as analyzing a network trace with wireshark.

It will have a lot of similarities of your drawaing, besides possible assent/h460.18 and different media flows.

Why do you ask?

Call flow while VCS-E use ASSENT for traversal protocol (pretty much same even use H.460.18 for signal flow).

Please note this call flow include only key messages not every message exchange between Endpoint & VCS as well as VCS-E & VCS-C.

Please note this is not official document and only contain key call flow messages and not including all messages that exchange between devices.
