Camera Input Not Detected (No self view) - But camera video sent to far end - C20

We see a strange issue in Cisco C20, where in the Video input from Camera is not detected in the  Codec - But the far end is able to see the Camera video if we are in a call.

Xstatus Video Input says - Not connected.

We see the same with TC5.1.6 and TC 6.1. The camera works fine with other Codec.

When connected to the vpe1 of the Codec - it shows the HDMI 1 has no signal and is disabled.

ad9388a: no HDMI signal, no DVI-D signal, unknown analog signal

videorx: source HDMI-1 (128) on primary input, disabled, not encrypted

Is this a Hardware issue with Video Processor of the Codec.?

Did you try other camera with the HDMI input port of this C20 codec and checked whether this gives self-view or not?

If it is not working with other camera as well then there must be an issue with the HDMI input port of the C20 codec.

Make sure that we are using a good HDMI cable.

Do you see any video output channels coming up during the call when far end gets video from this C20 codec?

Can you capture xstatus from the C20 codec when the codec is in call?

Yes, "xstatus DIagnostics" show active transmission

Yes, we tried and see the same issue with other cameras as well.

When it sends video to far end then at the same time, do we get self-view from the camera?

This seems to be an issue with the HDMI input port of the C20 codec.

Had recently a similar issue with a C40.

First thought this would be a hardware issue with the codec, since the camera was working fine as yours.

Not sure if it was TAC pointing towards that, but after a complete factory reset, everything was back to normal.

That came out of the blue with a TC5 release. Since then, no issues anymore. Strange but who knows....
