Hi

As of today there is no straight forward way of getting this capability

Microsoft has 3 CVI (Cloud Video Interop) partners that are certified to provide this functionality.

In a nutsheel the CVI solution adds SIP & webrtc (browser based) capabilities for teams meeting thus enabling SIP capable video device to join MS teams meeting

Here's the link for Microsoft CVI details

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/cloud-video-interop

A Cisco endpoint cant connect to a Microsoft meeting, be it skype/skype for business(lync)/ teams on its own.

In order for a enpoint to connect to a skype for business or teams meeting which is posible you will need some additional services bettwen the endpoint and the microsoft meeting infrastructure. Because microsoft dont implement standards, they do their own ”standards”. Teams is cloud only, but there are suppliers that can provide a CVI, cloud video interop.

Has Cisco become Microsoft Team's certified CVI yet? What is the latest news about this?

I dont think its offcial yet. There are a couple of clues thats it might be close. There is a Cisco live event next week. If nothing is anounced at that, you could contact your Cisco partner. Only Cisco and Microsoft could make it offcial.

Hi Tomas, since it is not official yet, can I say that Cisco Endpoint still unable to join a Microsoft meeting without using any third party solution lie Pexip?

One of the clues that its close is when you setup a CVI like Pexip in Azure you can select between diffrent vendors that offer a CVI, one of the options is Cisco.

Some like to make big anonucements at events....

so for the time being, can we say that Pexip is the only solution for Cisco endpoints to join Microsoft Teams meeting until Cisco make an official announcement Cisco is certified CVI partner?

Well currently the 3 official CVI partners are Pexip, Polycom and Bluejeans.

I watched the video from youtube which was uploaded on 16th June 2020: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpoB3foLYAs&list=PL_YnWo4XhzTeM2sxlku7uQIC37th-WyeK.

But I am not able to find any guide in Cisco website. I want to know is there any license required from Cisco or Mircrosoft Teams.
