Can I use the SX20 remote with an SX80?

SX80 has front panel LED labelled IR. Does it support the hand-held IR remote control that ships with the SX20?

The SX80 doesn't ship or come with a remote, and it's not supported.  Doesn't mean that it might not work as there is an IR sensor.  You can see Mangus' reply in the sx-80-questions discussion about it being not supported.
