I'm trying to add the VCS Expressway to TMS. When I add, TMS attempts connecting through the various protocols. Then, it errors and the screen refreshes pretty quickly, and I can't see what happened.
Where do I go to look to determine what happened?
Suggestions to resolve this?
Thanks
Ron

Is this a new deployment? By default the SNMP on VCS is disabled.
Check the SNMP setting on your VCS:
System > SNMP
SNMP Mode: v3 plus TMS support
Try to add again the VCS on the TMS and if you could share the screenshot on what is going on during adding the system.

Hi Ron,
How's the network connectivity between TMS and VCS Expressway?
Could you verify if the TMS can reach the VCSe using HTTPS/HTTP?
On the TMS (Windows Server), open command prompt and telnet IP address of the VCS Expressway with the port 443 or 80:
telnet <ip address of VCSe> 443
and
telnet <ip address of VCSe> 80
What is the current version of your TMS and VCSe?
Find the VCSe on the TMS under Systems > Navigator if the system is successfully added.

Yes. I can telnet to the VCS Expressway from the TMS server using both ports.

It was a hardware replacement. The backup and restore process didn't work as I had hoped.
After setting SNMP like you indicated, I was able to add the Express to TMS.
I appreciate your response.
Unlike your timely response, Cisco paid support is terrible now. Owner of the ticket is in another time zone. When they do respond, I'm out of the office. When I do mention the time zone, they still have issues trying to get another tech to take over the ticket.
Again, I really appreciate your response Acevirgil.
