Can we implement Expressway Edge and Expresway Core on single LAN

Hi,

We have an IP telephony setup CUCM running on version 10.5. 2 No's of UCSC-C220-M3SBE server(1 publisher and subscriber).

We would like to setup Cisco Express way for MRS for accessing the Jabber on mobile phone from outside campus.

Our concern is that can we implement the Cisco Expressway Edge and Express way Core on single LAN rather than placing Cisco Expressway Edge in DMZ and Expressway Core in LAN.

As we don't have dedicated server for configuring the Expressway Edge.

If yes can I get the configuration example for that.....

Unless the company has a strict requirement to have the physical servers to be placed in the DMZ, you can simply configure another network port to the DMZ and use the same UCS.

Hey Nithin,

How are you going to traverse the firewall without Expressway E on the outside?  Will you be using external DNS rules to point to the Edge?  This would be my main concern with this setup.
