Cannot reach SX80

We have a SX80 connected to a router for external call. when disconnecting to  router or changing its ip address then reconnect/change back its IP the sx80 becomes unreachable. even directly connecting it to a laptop. the problem will solved through factory reset. but the problem always occurs when disconnecting to the router.

Hi,

Change the IP address assignment in SX80 to static instead of DHCP.In this way the SX80 will retain its static IP address

can you add more details about your senario?

how the sx80's network adapter configured when it connect to the router? is it directly to layer 3 interface or during LAN?

have u using DHCP or static ip?

what is the version on the sx?

in normal state, your sx connected to LAN network for internal calls and sometimes you switch the network to connect the router for external calls??

yes, for external calls the SX80's IP is a public ip then they change it to static private ip when using for internals calls..then the last time they did it, they cannot reach the ip of the endpoint even directly connected.. and the solution to that is to factory reset it.
