CDP Mode Problem

I recently changed some setting on our devices. CDP was on of those setting I changed from on to off. I've notice when changed on SX 80. I have no HTTPS response afterward. I'm unable to log into device.  Below are the setting that I changed. Hopefully it helps. I didn't include the ip address in the api

Note: On DX 80s', I don't have this issue.

Figured out the issue. Turning off CDP mode shut off the IP address of the system.

It would not shutdown the IP address as such, but the system would not get information from the switch to know what VLAN it is situated in as that is carried in CDP.

Thanks you for your response. I figured it out after doing some research on CDP, which I had no idea about. I'm appreciative that you explain it simple and to the point.
