Cisco C90 Codec with Mulitple camera

Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue with the secondary camera self-view on C90 codec(v7.0.2), The both the camera's are connected to HDMI1 and HDMI2.

Iam getting selfview from main camera only. Both camera's are daisy chained and able to control.

Does there any configuration required to enable the secondary camera from codec to the self view.

Both the camera's are Precision 1080 12X.

When you change the main camera source to select whatever camera you want, if more than one is used, the main video and selfview should change to that camera.  What happens when you change the main camera source, do you see the second camera?

could you tell me from where we could change the camera source please, Is it from the web console> System configuration page?

Or only with TC Console software we could check this?

So if i make a call to other party, they should be able to see my both camera view?

You can change the main camera source using any of the following options:

The remote from within the menu (can't remember the exact locations).

The web interface, on the call control page, as well as the system configuration page under the video options.

The serial port or SSH, you can issue commands directly to the codec to change the camera source using xConfiguration Video MainVideoSource.

Remember as Wayne stated, you can only have one camera selected at any one time, as a result, you'll only see whichever camera is selected as the main source, unless you use TC Console to composite the multiple cameras into one stream to be displayed on the screen.

If you make a call to another party, by default, it will only show the main camera.

You will need to either use the compositor API functionaility, or the TC Console Software, to create a layout for the remote end that will show both cameras (and the local end if you wish to seem them both locally too).

You cannot see the self-view from both cameras simultaneously - the self-view only shows the camera that is seleted as the main camera.

If you use the TC Console software you can define some layouts that use the multiple cameras and how they display on your display(s) and the far end.
