Cisco codec with VCS : H323 or SIP registering

Hey Guys,

A newbie question : what's the best practice about registering codecs on a VCS :
SIP or H323 ?

Do you think its good to registering both ?

Hello,

It really depends on your requirements.
Cisco codecs support both and you can register through SIP and H323 at same time and there is no issues in doing so.
But I think using SIP is better idea as everything is moving towards SIP and its easy to troubleshoot as well.
