Cisco Jabber Video for Telepresence (VCS) with RMX 4000

Hello,

We are experiencing some issues with video dropping off after 15 minutes or less when using a Cisco VCS Expressway and Conrol as well as a Jabber Video client and an RMX 4000.

Cisco VCS/Jabber video client and Cisco Codian 4510 is working just fine however we would like to be able to host these on our RMX as we have more resources there.

Every time at the 15 minute mark video goes away from 1 second and then either comes back or never returns however you stay connected the conference and can see/hear other sites but they can no longer see you. Sometimes the video just drops completely even before the 15 minute mark but you can still see/hear other sites; they can no longer see you.

Jabber Client 4.4/4.6 with RMX4000 on 7.7.0.158

We have tried both wired and wireless networks and we have the same result. Doesnt appear to matter the operating system of the computer/laptop either.

Has anyone implemented and sucessfully using VCS/Cisco Jabber with an RMX?

Hi Ryan

I have Jabber Video working to my RMX in my environment.

I have an RMX1500 on 7.8.0.246

VCS 7.2.2

Jabber 4.6

How is the RMX deployed in your environment?

Is the RMX registered to your VCS control?

Could you post the setting in the conference profile you have assigned to the RMX meeting room you are dialling into?

Maybe look at IP INSPECT on your firewall.
