Cisco Room Kit Plus codec compatibility with 3rd party camera

Can anyone please assist me with compatibility for Cisco Room Kit Plus codec with SONY Digital 4K Video Camera Recorder FDR-AX53.

The RoomKit Plus Codec should be able to work fine with any HDMI source, as long as the source (in your case the Sony camera) can output one of the supported resolutions.  The resolution you can use will also depend on the cable you use to connect the devices and whether it supports the bandwidth (ie, you should use a cable that has qualified for at lease HDMI 1.4b data rates if you want to use anything higher than 1080p).

We recently came across a similar case to this. When another 3rd party camera (Sony) plugged into codec plus, the camera feed is shown as a HDMI input preview (as if a computer for presentation is plugged in). 

Will it be possible to simply select 3rd party camera from the touch, which to get the feed from, and use quad camera bar to output the audio only (only as a speaker) ? By this, remote party should only get the feed from 3rd party camera only.
