Cisco Room Kit Pro Voice Traking X Face Mask (Covid19)

Hello Guys,

 

Someone help me?

I'm having problems with the SpeakerTrack on device Telepresence Room Kit Pro Quad-Cam, when my users are using face mask (Covid19) in the room, the speaker Track camera doesn´t works well.

Is there anyone facing the same problem?

Hi Vaijanath,

The problem is when you have multiple people wearing masks. It can’t figure out who is talking so it focuses in on the closest person. I have to disable it and just have the full wide room view so the camera isn’t stuck on one person.


Is there any roadmap from cisco to make "SpeakerTrack mask mode" or something like that?

Because mask is mandatory in many places, especially in indoor room.

We are facing a similar issue and the video is not helpful because it only involves 1 meeting participant the issue only happens when you have multiple people in the room.  Will there be some fix to this issue in an upcoming release?
