Cisco SX20 CEC renders non operational after a restart from standby mode

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has come across this issue with the SX20 QuickSet:

- SX20 goes to standby and CEC works normally, so that the screen goes in standby

- The SX20 is restarted from the GUI

- The SX20 restarts and the CEC functionality renders non operational; the codec does not wake up the screen anymore, it stays in standby although the codec is active - even more, this appears so only on HMDI output 1, HDMI output  2 works well and as expected

Software version is the newest TC6.0.1

Cheers,

Mihail

Hello,

as discussed a while back, development thinks the issue could be related to the absence of "hotplug" from the monitor. To prove this, were you able to repeat the test and gather the following outputs at the linux prompt :

v4l2-ctl -d 2 --log-status

For comparison do also HDMI-2

v4l2-ctl -d 3 --log-status

With the Hot Plug Detect (HPD) signal, the sink indicates its presence to the source device. Hot plug detect is the

first step in source device recognizing a sink has been connected. The sink can toggle the hot plug detect signal

to reset the HDMI connection.

Hello Danny,

Here is the output.

What I did first is repeat the exercise, meaning, put the codec in standby, reset via GUI, and then get the output from the commands.

As you can see, the codec woke up the LCD screen on HDMI 2 , but the one on HMDI 1 is still in standby.

Any solution for above problem?

I missed the reply from April 23rd somehow.

Updated the ddts with that data hoping engineering can shed more light on this.

Danny.
