We'd need more details on your environment to be able to help - like what software version is the SX20 running?   What is the call control platform you are using?   Is the call SIP or H.323?

cisco Sx20 version - tc7.3.5

rmx4000 version-8.5.13

H.323

You didn't mention whether your MCU and Endpoint are using a call control platform, or what it is.  Or do you just have the two devices on a network with no call control?

If you have a call control platform (Cisco VCS, Polycom DMA, etc), are you seeing the call in the logs?

If you don't have a call control platform, have you configured the devices correctly so that they can be used in a "standalone" manner?

Where is the SX20 endpoint registered? VCS or RMX or CUCM?

Anyways, do the following:

  1. Enable H323 on Sx20, change H323 CallSetup Mode to "direct" and try dialing the direct IP address of RMX. you should hear IVR.
  2. Also, select SIP and dial the IP address of RMX.
  3. upgrade SX20 to the latest SW, possible you are hitting some bug.
  4. Make sure you have interworking enabled on VCS control if you have an SIP/H323 trunk with RMX.
  5. you may need to adjust your search rules to strip/prefix something before sending call to RMX.
