Cisco SX80: Control System Connection Error

We have integrated an SX80 codec into our AV system, we are successfully controlling the codec via a Crestron control system (processor and touch panel) but we are receiving this error message from the codec:

2.

ERROR: Control System Connection

The system is configured to use a control system, but no control system is detected.

Any thoughts on which control system the codec is referring to? Is there an option in the Web UI for the codec that needs to be (de)selected?

Has anyone found a solution for this error?

In the web interface, highlight Setup, slide down to configuration and click.  Then on the left side, select Peripherals.  Finally, change control system to 0.  If the error does not disappear, then reboot the codec.

Thanks,

Justin

What if I want a Crestron Control System to work with Cisco, but I am getting this error. Everything looks correct on the Crestron side of things... still put 0 in Cisco web interface under control peripherals?

Yes, adding a 0 there will stop the codec from trying to check and report if one is missing, but the system that is connected will still continue to work fine.
