Cisco Telepresence MCU - Scheduled and ad-hoc conference bridge together

Hi

We have CUCM 9.1.1 and MCU 5310 ver 4.4

MCU registered with CUCM as Conference Bridge, Telepresence MCU, and MRG, MRGL. on DX650 and Jabber, we can have conference by pressing conference button. Shall I use same MCU 5310 for scheduled conference?

Like Phones call conference number,enter PIN and join conference ?

Is it possible to configure MCU 5310 as media resource on CUCM for ad-hoc as well as Deploying MCU 5310 as a SIP trunk for Rendezvous conferencing on CUCM simultaneously?

Hi all

Yes. It is possible to configure MCU as CUCM Conference Bridge and same time SIP trunk to same MCU for static conference. Did via CUCM "SIP security profile" Non-security profile with "UDP" and incoming port "5062", then apply this SIP profile to MCU SIP trunk.

Assign this Non-security profile to MCU SIP trunk. and enter MCU IP address and destination port as 5061 of MCU.(on MCU Network>Services, SIP (UDP) is 5061)
This way MCU can be used for both "media resource" as well as SIP trunk for static conference.
