Cisco TMS 15.3 - Enabling Active Directory Lookup

Hi all,

finally i understood how to get PMP license consumed when scheduled meetings are involved, my question comes from TMS's Admin guide - section Enabling Active Directory Lookup. The guide specifies:

Enable Active Directory lookup to make user information replicate automatically from AD to Cisco TMS at given intervals.

Would this option import users from AD to TMS database? If so:

Is there a limit on the number of users that TMS can import from AD? I know the corporate AD has a lot of users - about 30.000 - and i cannot find out a way to specify Search Filter in the Active Directory section of TMS (Network Settings).

 

Does anybody has experience with this configuration?

any help would be great

he TMS Active Directory feature/function does not import users. Users are added to TMS manually, or automatically when the user logs in. The Active Directory component within TMS will then update the user information within TMS from the user data that is found within Active Directory.
