Cisco Video Surveillance Manager (CIVS-MSP-4RU)

Hi,

We are buying CIVS-MSP-4RU server / 24 TB with Cisco Video Surveillance Manager softwares. We are also employing 28 IP cameras (non-Cisco).

Do we need to get seperate software licenses for these cameras? or the Cisco Video Surveillance Media Server and Cisco Video Surveillance Operations Manager should be enough?

Yes, you have to purchase additional licensing for non-cisco cameras. You should consult your REP, sometimes they can provide the licensing for free if you are a loyal customer.
