codec not regstred with the ISDN Link

HI,

after pairing the codec with the isdn link and configure it (BRI,EURO), when i try to make call, the call failed and i get message "codec not registred with the ISDN link"

How can i fix it?

Hi,

What is codec version and ISDN link version , If you are using 5.x for codec and IL 1.0 for link then I will suggest to upgrade codec to TC 6.x and link to IL 1.1.

Error is related to pairing issue , check xsta sys state , you shoud get following if pairing is working .

Im using 6.0.1 ad 1.1

and i see this errors:

ERROR:

ISDN Link status

The link status is OKWithW: BRI1: [L1 Alarm] BRI3: [L1 Alarm] BRI4: [L1 Alarm].

Hi,

BRI 1, BRI3 an BRI4 is down , Check it from service provider end .or de activate from configuration to make text call @ 128 K.

I didn't understood what you saying about deactivate to make text call@128 K. What it will give me and how to do it?
