Codian MCU - Permanent Conference Limitation

Hi,

Hopefully one of you experts may know this!

Is their a maximum number of permanent conferences that can be scheduled on a 42XX/45XX MCU, i presume this is not unlimited? Is their also a restriction on the amount of conferences an MCU registers with VCS, if the MCU is registering via H323 as 'MCU-Compatible'.

A maximum of 200 conferences can be configured on the MCU, but not all of these can be registered with the VCS - there is a limit to the number of IDs that can be registered with h323, which I believe to be 100.

Should you need 200 conferences always running that can be dialled in to via numeric ID, then you would need to look at registering just a service prefix of the MCU and not registering individual conferences at all.
