I would like to connect a doorphone on my CCME system. Does Cisco have an IP doorphone? I didn't see one online, but wanted to make sure. Would I have to setup an ATA? I really need a simple installation since this is for my boss' home.
Allows an intercom box or a combination intercom box/electronic door lock installed at an outside door to connect directly to a specific station or to the system.
We used the Viking Electronics E-40 doorphone for this at our office. It just uses an analog phone connection, so it plugs into an FXS port on the router. Works great.
