Connecting Polycom HDX ceiling microphone to Cisco SX80

Hi,

I have a requirement where I have to connect the Polycom HDX ceiling microphone to Cisco SX80.  To make the connection, I need a converter to convert RJ45 to Euroblock to connect it to SX80.  Will it work directly.  Has some one tried it before.  I did see in some supportforums threads that connecting polycom ceiling microphone to Cisco codec will work.  But no details on whether a simple converter is good enough.

Please advise.

Hi Majeed,

I believe a converter from RJ45 to Euroblock will work.

Cisco Telepresence Ceiling Microphone are also connected to SX80 using same converter.
