CTS-1100 software not upgrading from 1.6.0(3954) version

Hi to all

I have checked this issue but still i cant upgrade the codec

What i have done so far:

1) Downloaded the cmterm-CTS.1-10-8-1-2R-K9.P1.cop.sgn from cisco

2) Uploaded to all the tftps / tftp file management  ( we have three cucms ) and restarted the tftp service from all the servers

 3) Added the load file with .sbn as per the documentation.

4) Login via cli and issue the command admin:set upgrade firmware

5) Then restart the codec ,

6) Started to count on the screen that its upgraded but when its finished then i see only the previous version

7) admin:show version

   Slot 1    CTS 1.6.0(3954)

presentation system unavailable
 

Any ideas ?

did you try to connect to the codec via the console port? did you do a tcpdump to see if the file is really transfered? did you try to receive the file from the tftp server and do a md5 checksum test to see if its the right one? You are sure that its the right software version, ....?

If you have a service contract and you do not get an answer here, please consider to escalate the thread to Cisco TAC

1) If i try to connect to codec via console what is the benefit?

2) Yes i checked the md5 and its correct

3) If i am sure if the software its the right one i think yes..

4) how to collect tctdump?

with factory reset and then tried again to upgrade, everything worked as expected

Also is one field into CUCM,

You have to choose no presentation if you don't have..
