Hi

On one of our CTS-1300-65 I´ve recognized a red x at display status, but there is no issue and the status seems to be ok:

Displays
StatusVideo cable: OK; Power Cable: OK; Display Diagnostics: OK

Display_SerialQCI13179086
Display_Hardware_ver1.3
Display_ModelCTS-DISP-65-GEN3
Display_BootCode_Ver82.08.02
Display_AppCode_Ver82.08.02

We´re running CTS 1.9.3 but I think we had this issue also with older releases.

Thanks

Tino

Hi T,

Could you provide the LED error indication as well.

you will find a sequence  in LED color and blinking

like

Orange 1   time, Green 2 times,, or Orange 1 time,   Green 3 times etc.

Thanks

Hi Ravi

thanks. As the system is on a remote site, can you tell me the position of the LED? Is it located behind the bezel?

thanks

Tino

please let us know if the provided step helped you to get the led status and sequence.

Orange 1   time, Green 1 time continuously

Hello Tino,

The boot code and app code versions indicate that the codec is connected to the wrong port on the display. Move the HDMI cable connection to the other port on the bottom of the display and the error should clear up after a few minutes.

Hi Paul

Thank you. Can our local colleagues do that without removing the display?

Thanks

Tino

Hi Tino,

It is possible to do this without removing the display.

First they would need to remove the cabinet cover as outlined in step #3 here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/cts_1300/cts_1300_assembly_guide/1300_fru_replacement.html#wp1094422

Then move the cable to the port labeled codec in the image 6-2 here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/cts_1300/cts_1300_assembly_guide/1300_fru_replacement.html#wp1096623

Thanks,

Paul

I know this is an old post but after moving a CTS1300 I had the red X by the display and this was exactly what the issue was - Thanks Paul!

Hi Tino,

please let us know if the provided step helped you to get the led status and sequence.

Hi Ravi

I have to deal with the local guys to get the status. Is the LED located at the front or back of the display?

thanks

Tino

Hi Ravi

here are the results:

  • The LED is green. No blinking or something.
  • We´ve also changed the cable. Same result.
  • The cable is plugged into the correct port

any idea?

Thanks

Tino

Hi Tino,

Its on both the sides front and back and its clearly visible if someome stands in front, you may find it on the bottom panel of the screen in the front and just opposit on the back side as well just look at the sequence of the led colour I will try if I can send you a video showing the same.

Thanks

perfect. thanks. I will try to get the status till next week.

Hi All,

I also have an issue wherien the LED is solid orange and below is the display status from CLI. Tried force upgrade and factory reset of the display but no success.

Display_Serial                     : INFO:Display is disconnected.

Display_Hardware_ver               : INFO:Display is disconnected.

Display_Model                      : INFO:Display is disconnected.

Display_BootCode_Ver               : INFO:Display is disconnected.

Display_AppCode_Ver                : INFO:Display is disconnected.

Could you please share the LED status information for the Gen 3 display? What color and status of LED corresponds to what issue ?

Hi DDT,

As per the LED light it seems the screen is in standby/suspended mode.

and the same is showing that the dispaly is disconnected.

Make sure that the HDMI is connected on the primary Port not on secondary.

Primary HDMI port: the port further from the center.

Secondary HDMI port: the port closer to the center.

i do not have the document which i can share however you can try itif not aleady checked.

let us know the result.

Regards

Ravi kr.
