CTS and Codian 4500 MCU

Hi,

I saw an information about interoperability for CTS series and Codian MCU 4500. It says CTS supports Codian MCU 4500. Actually I am surprised. I used to know it is possible to make a multipoint conference with CTSes on only TPS server or CTMS. Could you please clarify this issue? Does the CTS support to connect the Codian 4500 MCU? If so what are the limitations?

CTS do support standard H.264 video capability from software 1.7.4 release.

CTS-4500 series MCU connection use this standard H.264 capability not TIP.

Please note version 1.7.4 is early phase release for this interop and has improved interop level in newer version.

As the MCU 4500 series does not support TIP there are several limitations, including;

   - no support for multi-screen systems, so e.g. CTS3000 will connect with one screen only

   - no support for Roster list

   - no support for locking conference

   - lower maximum resolution support than in TIP mode
