Hi     

Question  about CTS-PHD1080P12XS2= (PrecisionHD Camera 1080p 12x Gen 2).

Do I understand correctly?

This camera only for SX20?

If i need second camera for C60 i must order CTS-PHD-1080P-KIT=

Gen 2 - that means? where can I read?

The CTS-PHD-1080P-KIT= are the for the C-Series that contains all the necessary cables for the camera.  If all your looking for is a spare camera with no cables, than CTS-PHD-1080P12XS= is what you want.

A replacement camera for the SX20 would be CTS-SX20-PHD12X-K9.

I did a search on that Gen 2 camera, but wasn't able to find a description for it, saying what exactly it is in relation to the other cameras and products.

Hm.. it looks like you are correct, I didn't notice on the SX20 data sheet that the part numbers listed were the actual system including cameras.  I'd figure they'd have the base system and then selecable camera options (seperate part numbers)?

Oleksandr - According to the PrecisionHD user guide, the CTS-SX20-PHD12XS2 is for the SX20.  Generation 2 must refer to the new type of camera connector used in the SX20 series, a combined video and control cable.

Hi,

  The 1080P12XS2= camera are new generation camera which resolved the issue faced for HD-SDI port on camera.

Earlier CTS-PHD1080PXS1= camera had some HD-SDI port issues due to which video sent out from HD-SDI port see drops.

Thanks for quick reply. The problem is we have ordered CTS-C40-K9 instead of CTS-INTP-C40-K9. Now we need to order Mic and Camera seperately. We are ordering below mentioned part code:-

We have to order Camera too. But I don't think so that we will need ADPT-HDMI-DVID= and CAB-VCDC-6.5M=. We actually forgot to order Camera with C40 unit. So we were ordering:-

CTS-PHD-1080P12XS=

CAB-VC-5M=

CAB-2HDMI-5M=

PSU-CAM-V=

Please correct me if we are ordering wrong.

It seems extablished that to order a second camera its best to order CTS-PHD-1080P-KIT=

The previous posts suggest that CTS-PHD1080P12XS2= is for the SX20.

What makes this very confusing is that on CCW for the C60 integrator bundles the included camera SKU and description is :

CTS-PHD1080P12XS2

PrecisionHD Camera 1080p 12x Gen 2

On the C40 Integrator bundle the x12 camera SKU is :

CTS-PHD1080P12XS2

PrecisionHD Camera 1080p 12x Gen 2

So they both look like they are referring to the CTS-PHD1080P12XS2=

Can anyone shed light on this?
