CUCM with Video

Good morning,

we have here a CUCM (9.1.2.10000-28) installed, upgraded from older version. It is located in an laboratory.

Registered Endpoints are :

- C20

- E20

- Jabber Clients

- SIP TRUNK to VCS

I can do only voice call between all of these clients.

I have checked the regions (BW:256kb) and locations (unlimited).

Everything look fine, but no video.

I have done a second fresh installation, there everything works fine.

I'm totally confused, where the problem can be.

I hope someone can help me.

Have you configured your environment according to this document?

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/endpoint/codec-c-series/tc6/administration_guide/administering_endpoints_running_tc6_on_ucm911.pdf

Can you double check?

Hi Jens,

The bandwidth specified is for the whole call, so if you run 256kb AAC sound you have no bandwidth left for video.

Raise the bandwidth to 2mbps to get 720p or 6mbps to get 1080p

Hi,

yes i have configured regarding to the guide.

My informations about the Regions was not complete.

Regions max Audio: 256kb

Regions max Video: 6144kb

All locations are set to UNLIMITED.

To me it look like the videofeature is complete disabled at the CUCM.

Is this possible???

What about the license in your CUCM? Do you have license for Single Screen Telepresence applied? This is required for Cisco/Tandberg endpoints.

Hi Jens

Which device uses the VCS?

E20 on CUCM don't need Single Screen TelePresence license.

br Oleksandr

Hi everybody,

we have the official test license key installed on that system.

License Usage Report shows that 1 Telepresence Room is in use.

The main thing is we will get the jabber with video working. The C20 and the e20 are just for testing the jabber video.

Normally they are registered on the vcs system. On the vcs system are all room systems and several older MOVI Clients.

But no video call can be done with the CUCM.

Hi,

What was the resolution to this issue?

Regards,

Amir
