DD, MS, PR, NPP for Profile 42 with C40 - can they be ordered?

Hi all!

We have an old Tandberg Profile 42 with C40.

We would like to use it but it has no licenses that we need - Natural Presenter, Dual Display, Premium Resolution, Multisite.

I've opened the CCW, found L-PROFILE-C-PAK, found there licenses for Profile 55 with C40.

But no such licenses for our Profile 42 with same codec C40.

How can that be?

Can we order these licenses?

May be we can order DD/MS/PR/NPP for Profile 55 with C40 and use them with our Profile?

Who can clarify?

Thank you in advance!

The Profile 42 with C40 is end-of-sale, eos-eol-notice-c51-730603, since June 2014.  Looking at the other TelePresence Profile endpoints End-of-Life and End-of-Sale Notices, they are all EOS.  Also, the C40 itself is also EOS, eos-eol-notice-c51-733467, since June 2015.  I'm not sure how Cisco handles CCW, but it's not possible to purchase any items related to the Profile Series endpoints or the C40 as they are all EOS.

If you have any questions related to purchasing you should contact your Account Manager or Cisco Partner you purchase through.

Have you checked on the Cisco Licensing Portal (https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/LicensingUI/Quickstart#) under "Get Other Licenses", "TelePresence License to Resend", put in your serial number and click submit.

You may fund that there are licenses listed there that just aren't installed on your endpoint itself.

Failing that, as these devices are End of Sale (as mentioned by [@patrick.sparkman]), then the only way you're going to be able to get them is possibly by talking nicely to your local Cisco Account Team, who may be able to get them created for you.

Failing all of that, it'd be recommended that you purchase a new SX80 which is the current and more capable replacement endpoint.

I have checked it, thank you. No licenses activated. Not one.

It just feels very odd that Cisco still sells licenses for C40 in Profile 55 and does not sell licences for C40 in Profile 42. Screen size matters for licensing.

To be fair all licenses for products containing C40 should be unified under one SKU.
