Direct VM Access from UCCX

Hey Guys

On my CUCM we have setup Direct to VM using the pattern *XXXX

I have a requirement in UCCX to re-direct a call to a Direct VM. Voicemail is Unity Connection.

UCCX cannot send in a call redirect an "*" so the call fails.

I've been able to confrim this by changing the *XXXX pattern to 9XXXX pattern and it is working as expected.

Question: Is there a better way for UCCX to access a drect VM Box?

Never mind, I found an elegant solution.

Call redirect to the main VM pilot number and then in then reset the called address to the pilot of the mailbox.

Done and dusted!
