Hi all,
I've just added 2 EX60 to CM8.6 (SIP), and the video call can connect each other. However, the resolution always limit at 640x368, but according to Cisco's Ex60 data sheet, it can be 1980x1080p30.
Is there anywhere i can adjust the resolution? I've tried to maximize the call rate to 6000kbps before make a call, but it still stick to 384kbps call rate after call connected. Does it relate to the license issue?
Anybody can help to solve this ?
Thanks
Sam

HI Sam. Good morning. Couple of things to check:
1) Conference 1 Information: Max in and Max out BW
2) Default Call Rate on EX90's.
Make sure these two are higher than 384k if possible?
Also, if registered to CUCM, I'd check the region settings in CUCM to make sure you have more than 384k video BW to those regions to where the EX90's are registered to.
In order for you to achieve 1080p, you do need the premium resolution key, so after the BW issue is found, verify you have the premium resolution option key as well.
Let us know how it goes.

Adding two last places to look:
There are default Intra- and Inter- region bandwidth settings in the CallManager process service paramaters. The data shown in your region matrix should only be the exceptions needed from these defaults.
Default Intraregion Max Video Call Bit Rate (Includes Audio)
Default Interregion Max Video Call Bit Rate (Includes Audio)
Both of these are set to 384 by default.
If the codecs are in different locations ensure that you have sufficient video bandwidth defined for each location.

Hi Sam. They are, but the premium resolution option key enables 1080p30. Below is the Live Video Resolutions that the EX60 and EX90 support. The * denotes that the premium resolution option key is required to achieve those resolutions:
LIVE VIDEO RESOLUTIONS (ENCODE /DECODE )
• 176 × 144@30 fps (QCIF)
• 352 × 288@30 fps (CIF)
• 512 × 288@30 fps (w288p)
• 576 × 448@30 fps (448p)
• 768 × 448@30 fps (w448p)
• 704 × 576@30 fps (4CIF)
• 1024 × 576@30 fps (w576p)
• 640 × 480@30 fps (VGA)
• 800 × 600@30 fps (SVGA)
• 1024 × 768@30 fps (XGA)
• 1280 × 1024@30 fps (SXGA)
• 1280 × 720@30 fps (720p30)
• 1280 × 768@30 fps (WXGA)
• 1920 × 1080@30 fps (1080p30)*
• 1440 × 900@30 fps (WXGA+)*
• 1680 × 1050@30 fps (WSXGA+)*
• 1600 × 1200@30 fps (UXGA)*
• 512 × 288@60 fps (w288p60)*
• 768 × 448@60 fps (w448p60)*
• 1024 × 576@60 fps (w576p60)*
• 1280 × 720@60 fps (720p60)*
Hope this helps.
