Hi all,

Please tell me why the call from the ex60(with public IP address) fails to "free" Jabber (jabber.com).

I would be grateful for help. Thanks

Ildar

Hi Ildar,

Could you please check if you use SIP as communication protocol, because H323 is not supported. Free Jabber cannot traverse this call from H323 to SIP.

Best Regards,

Artem Borodai

Hi Artem,

I use SIP and H323. But the call does not pass.

But call from jabber.com to ex60 - good.

Ildar.

Would be helpful to know if the EX60 is registered to a SIP registrar, if it's not registered to one then it will not be able to make SIP URI calls.

If it is registered, then would also be helpful to know the error message you are getting and an idea of your infrastructure deployment, i.e. VCS-C/VCS-E, CUCM, firewall etc.

I have only EX60 without VCS, cucm, etc.

All is OK!

I had to register SIP URI on EX60: (external IP)@(external IP)

Thank you all!

Hi Ildar,

I think it won't work as it would be nothing but IP address based Endpoint and it is not using any SIP/H323 Functionality either of the endpoint or using any SIP registrar.

Thanks,

Saurabh
