Saurabh Gupta

Hi Experts,

Is there any way , we can check if all the required ports for VCSc and VCSe configuration are opened on firewall through some utility or some commands?

I am going to proceed fir VCSe config with VCSc and I want to make sure that all the required ports for H323/SIP/RTP etc are open , without relying on Customer's Network Admins

Any reply in this regard would be appreciable.

Thanks,

Saurabh

Vyopta has v2.2.1.34297 of the TANDBERG port tester available on their website;

http://www.vyopta.com/tools/IPT.exe

works with VCS-E

below are the ports what you requite basically between internal to DMZ

The port tester “IPT.exe” is developed for port testing to Boarder Controller product and haven’t updated for some time already.

Please note that this tool may use against VCS for testing H.323 connectivity but may not cover all requirements.

Cisco is currently plan for releasing update version of port tester in 2013 including SIP port testing capability.

The default Border Controller seems not to be working. Is this expected?

Kind regards

Maciek

Yes, that is expected result as original IPT program point to test BC server hosted by TANDBERG which has removed after Cisco acquisition.

Any idea when in 2013?  ty.

Due to other high priority implantation, very unfortunately port tester for VCS product yet made much progress.
