Hello,
We are getting significant fluorescent flicker during video conferences. Can anyone provide some settings for us to experiment with on the SX20 units?

Flickering is caused by power line frequency and would affect the camera. By default the SX20 camera frequency line was set to Auto. You can adjust it manually by going to your camera setting and change the value of the frequency depending what is the power line frequency you are using in your region. You can select 50 Hz or 60 Hz.

Thanks. We have made these adjustments and the flickering is still present.

Make sure your output resolution also matches your region, ie, change the Output > HDMI 1 > Resolution from "Auto" (default) to the correct resolution and frame rate (ie 1920_1080_50).

Correct it may be caused by the power line frequency
US - 60Hz
Europe and other 50Hz
But we should ask who is seeing the flicker? Do you see it in self view only? Do you see it in your monitor when in a call with other sites?
HD Cameras and displays are less susceptible to this are you using the HD cameras and Displays?

Thank you for the response. We see it most notably on the far end site. I see it very faintly in the self view, but the far end sees it as rolling through the image. We have HD cameras 4X zoom and they are connected to Sharp 60" aquos screen.
