H323 registration on 5300 MCU builtin gatekeeper with Authentication

Dear All,

We have 5300 series MCU, ISDNGW and C series endpoints.

All endpoints and infra devices are configured with public IP.

All endpoints and ISDN call prefix are registered to MCU's builtin GK.

In order to prevent unknow registration to MCU GK, we would like to implement all endpoints registration to MCU GK with Authentication.

I would like to know how to configure on MCU for secure registration.

I hope someone can help me on this.

Thanks in advance

HI Bo Bo.  Even if you were registering to ISDN GW internal GK, I don't particularly see a way for authentication to occur.  The Users page is for access to the unit, and this isn't used for H323 device credentials.  Would be wise for your customer to explore VCS for device authentication if he requires it.
