Dear all,
The codec C40 has obtained the TMS global phonebook.
We would like to know any commands to obtain the TMS phonebook from the codec?
Best Regards,
Benjamin

C-series does not use a downloadable "Global Directory" like the MXPs do.

Check out the info on the developer forums (https://developer.cisco.com/web/telepresence-developer/integrator-modules/crestron-codec-c60c90). It appears to be for the C60 and C90 only, not the C40, but you might be lucky.

Hi,
The Crestron can use the API of the codec to run searches on phonebooks.
Please see:
look for xCommand Phonebook Search. As mentioned above the C-series do not support the MXP concept of global phonebook that is downloaded from a server and stored locally but does support a local based phonebook (that is created locally) and of course can search phonebooks provided from TMS/CUCM.
Using the API commands the Crestron should be able to take input run the search and get the results and format them correctly for the touch interface.
Regards
John
