How to install a MS License in the SX20 Device

Hi,

I have a four sx20 device with PR License.

In this we are planning to buy a MS License in the two of the device.

Some one suggest me and help me , how to install MS license in the Existing Sx20 Device.

Hi Mohan

You add the MS license same way as you enter the PR lisence .

instructions:

1) Open the codec web interface

2) Click Maintance

3) Click Software Upgrade

4) Enter the key you received into the "Option Key" field.

5) Press add, - if it is sucessfull the codec will prompt for a reboot

6) Accept reebot

7) Place calls, you should now have MS installed.

You may add option key by using API as well (if you have telnet/ssh or console connection).

After open remote session, execute following commands.

• xcom SystemUnit OptionKey Add Key: <16-digits option key>
• xcom boot

After system startup, execute “xsta system” and look for multisite which you should see “true” like below example (indicate system have enabled MS feature).
