I would like to see the posibilitiy to create hirarchical provisioing templates in TMSPE

Hi,

We use TMS 14.1.2, VCS x7.1, plus Jabber Video on several clients across multiple domains.

Maintaining templates for multiple  minor version of Jabber is just a massive pain. 99 times out of 100, the template information remains the same between minor versions. I would love to see hierarchical/cascading templates where you can set a base set of options, then only if necessary override or add on a per version basis.

I suspect that this will be a feature request, but if any one knows any different or feel the same, please let me know.

Have done, but its always goo to get these idea out in the public domian as well.

If you do not need tmspe or tms14 using the old style provisioning has clearly advantages in this respect.

Also regards to user level configurations and some other things, ...

What I think is also limiting on TMSPE that you have to copy FROM some other template but

you can not copy TO (one or multiple) templates, which would help to keep at least the configs

in sync. And you can not overwrite existing config template parts neither, ....

Not sure how much developent is done on TMSPE, ...
