Is There a Physical Method to Factory Reset a Profile C40 ?
It seems tht a previous employee demoted the default "admin" user to a role of "user" which does not allow me full access to the devices configuration. Additionally, logging in via SSH yields the same user permission error when attempting to perform a factory default that way. The root user is not configured either. I know there is a physical method to factory reset the C20....but what about the C40?
There is no physical method for the C40. You can connect to the C40 via the serial port and run a command to factory reset the codec, see the steps outlined here, password-recovery, based on what version of software the C40 is running.
