Hi everybody,
we are experiencing some troubles with the calls between a Polycom registered to a VCS and a Cisco 7975 registered to a CUCM 8.6. They are in the same LAN and when the Polycom makes a call, it establishes the communication but we can’t hear anything and viceversa.
This case is a bit strange because when the same Polycom calls another phone type (6921, 7942) the call is made without problems, so these details are only with the 7975’s.
The scenario is the following:
Polycom VVX
VCS X7.2 ip 192.168.46.150
Cisco 7975 with firmware SCCP75.9-2-1S
CUCM 8.6.2.20000-2. Ip. 192.168.46.10
We have the following events in the VCS when the call is made between Polycom ext. 99929 and 7975 ext. 16002.

Do you have any suggestion about the troubleshooting we need?
Thanks in advance!

Check the codec. are the 7975's in the same devicepool (location) as the other phones, so the same codec is negotiated?

Hi
- Place a call from Polycom to Cisco 7975
- Capture the phone streaming status using phone web access viceversa (Sender and Receiver packets)
- collect the traces from VCS and CUCM (Detailed)
- Share the details to dig more on this issue

What version of software is the Polycom VSX running? I know from experience there's issues with anything pre 9.0.6 talking with some of the newer Cisco kit. We run 9.0.6.2 on our Polycom VSXs.
