Issue with Content Server Quicktime video format

I have a user that owns a Content server and is claiming that the video and audio aren't in sync when using the .mp4 format. All other formats work fine. This is the info I got:

Content server

Version 5.3

Free disk space: C: 21.7 Gig & E: 346 Gig

User is using Quicktime version 7.7 to view their videos. Was tested on different computers with the same problem. Any ideas?

There is a bug regards garbled audio, which sais you should use QT <=7.6.5

CSCtu42300 - QT audio garbled in viewer

So if you have a computer with that version, try again. You should be able to find it

at Apple or some of the historic software download sites.

Besides that please always post some more info, kind of deployment, involved components / call path / ...

A workaround can be to select the windows media output format.
